Owu Waterfalls is a waterfall located in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara, Nigeria. It is 120m above the water level and cascades 330 feet down an escarpment.

Owu fall is renowned to be the the tallest waterfall in Africa.

Patigi regatta is in patigi town in the northern part of Kwara state. The regatta is renowned to host the popular patigi regatta festival(a tourist attraction). The people of patigi are predominantly in to fishing and farming .

SOBI HILLS

At 394m above sea level, Sobi hills is the highest peak in Ilorin. From it’s top you have the panoramic view of Ilorin. It derives its name from Sobi community in Ilorin, Kwara State. The hill is acclaimed to be sacred as people from different worship supplicates on the hill.

Asa Dam is located at Asa dam road, Ilorin, Kwara State. Asa dam in all its magnificence is the largest source of portable drinking water for the Kwara community and also the source of water for irrigation, Fisheries. It’s a great place site for explore nature.

NIGHT LIFE

Night life in Kwara State is not that busy and blooming. Unlike states like Lagos that is known as a city where no one sleeps as you can barely differentiate between day and night because everywhere is busy day and night. It’s a different vibe in Kwara, people go to houses once it’s getting dark as most business activities resume the next morning

Kwara State is known to be a very peaceful and welcoming state for all. The cost of living in Kwara state is low which makes it more convenient for people to live in. There are different cultures in Kwara state; Yoruba, Nupe, Baruba, Fulani etc

Dada Pottery is located at the Dada area of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. it is the largest concentration of potters in kwara State.

ASO OFI

Aso Ofi weaving is a major profession among the people of Okelele community in Ilorin, Kwara State. Educated people in this community also engage into it as a side hustle coz of it lucrativeness. They produce up to 3 bundles or more in a day. 1 bundle is with length 75 and breadth 6.5 or 6. These woven cloth are sold to Lagos, Ibadan and other parts of the country especially to the Yoruba people. It's used for different occasions like weddings, festivals, naming ceremony etc

Esie Museum Is the First Museum to be established in Nigeria and also the museum with the largest soap stone images in the world. The myth and history of the figures in the museum could make the museum a centre of archeology.
